Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and a MT or compact RN license.

Details

• LDRP unit within a hospital setting, providing care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Candidate must be experienced in labor, delivery, and postpartum care, as couplet care is required
• Experience in high-risk pregnancy and antepartum care is a plus
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• On-call required: 3–4 call shifts per 8-week block
• Float to Pediatrics and NICU required; may also be assigned safety sitting on any unit

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Must reside 75+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; must live 75 or more miles from the facility
• 13-week contract
