This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging, timely reporting, and an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies (e.g., carotid, venous, arterial) Ensure accurate image acquisition and preliminary analysis for physician interpretation Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout procedures Collaborate with providers to optimize diagnostic outcomes Maintain equipment and adhere to quality assurance protocols Document and communicate findings clearly and efficiently Why Join Us? Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Sonography program Registered or registry-eligible with ARDMS (RDCS/RVT) or CCI (RCS/RVS) Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and pathology Excellent patient care and communication skills Completion of the Basic Arrhythmia Course. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in both cardiac and vascular imaging Prior experience in an outpatient or rural healthcare setting Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment Physical and Mental Requirements : Ability to perform job functions while standing.
