Would you love to make an impact with students in a live virtual format? The Intervention Specialist provides that opportunity through targeted and intensive support to students across Imagine Learning's small group targeted instruction in an online environment.

The Intervention Specialist may develop content with an understanding of instructional best practices for the identification and implementation of intensive student support. This position works collaboratively and cross-functionally with Synchronous Educational Services teams with the goal of helping students who have diverse needs to demonstrate and develop in identified competencies. The role includes both live instruction and administrative responsibilities, with time generally split between the two.

Position Information: This is a regular, part-time hourly position. Part-time roles work year-round, typically between 12 and 29 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Work volume is typically highest from October through April and may fluctuate throughout the year based on student enrollment and program needs.


We are currently hiring for day schedule staff, which includes:
Part-Time (minimum 20 hours per week across 4 weekdays) between 8am-4pm Eastern

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $20.00 and $20.50 per hour. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote from your home office.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

• Design and deliver intensive live interventions, to small groups of students, using research-based instructional best practices in an online video-based tutoring platform.
• Collaborate across internal and external teams to determine proper targeted support.
• Communicate support, rationale, and feedback to appropriate stakeholders.
• Use data to drive decisions regarding strategies, instruction, and paths of growth for students.
• Coordinate student transitions with appropriate stakeholders.
• Work effectively and efficiently within a communication process for internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and communicate an intervention schedule to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate professionally in all written and verbal interactions, with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, schedules, and program documentation.
• Utilize multiple technology platforms and communication tools to support instructional delivery and student success.
• Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, training activities, and ongoing professional development.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or academic intervention experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Active teaching certification/license is required.
• Ability to deliver dynamic and engaging instruction on an online video-based tutoring platform.
• Experience supporting students and educators in a blended, virtual, or online learning environment preferred.
• Understanding of student interventions best practices preferred.
• Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to generate creative solutions and provide ideas to assist students and educators with a growth mindset.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours:
  • For day-shift positions, candidates must provide a minimum of 20 hours of availability per week across four weekdays (Monday-Friday) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Availability must consist of the same hours each scheduled day. Available hours are used to support both live instruction and administrative responsibilities.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to successfully complete a structured onboarding and training program. Initial onboarding typically occurs during the first two weeks of employment and may require approximately 20-25 hours per week of primarily asynchronous training activities. During these first two weeks of employment, please expect that the first two Mondays and Tuesdays require attendance for live virtual training sessions at 10 a.m. ET. Additional training may include, but is not limited to, self-paced learning, observation, and shadowing.
• Ability to maintain a dedicated, professional, and distraction-free workspace suitable for delivering live virtual instruction using audio and video technology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software is a must.
• Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or provide proof of application within 7 days (upon hire).
