6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend required. No block scheduling available.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team, utilizing advanced skills and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in our comprehensive stroke center and level 2 trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Participate in patient assessment, planning, and evaluation as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records using the Cerner system.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient flow and care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to starting.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Experience in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume ED preferred.
