Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Fridays as needed

We are hiring a Welder Fabricator for a client in the metal fabrication industry. This role is responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and performing quality checks on finished products. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication and welding experience and can work independently to exact specifications. Responsibilities

We are hiring a Welder Fabricator for a client in the metal fabrication industry. This role is responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and performing quality checks on finished products. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication and welding experience and can work independently to exact specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Construct base templates as necessary
- Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines
- Set up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears
- Double-check design specifications before starting cutting work
- Fabricate and construct metal components
- Grind and finish completed products
- Perform quality checks on completed products
- Conform to state and company safety regulations
- Complete job reports
- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator or Welder
- AWS certification and advanced welding experience
- Must pass a weld test administered by the hiring manager
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
- Proficiency with metal fabrication tools including shears, rollers, flame cutters, and drill presses
- Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects (+/- 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Advanced knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing procedures
- Strong mathematical and engineering skills
