Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): 90+ but it seems longer for physicians with lengthy resumes. I'd plan on 120

Minimum Qualifications:

Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required).

Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in FP, IM/Peds or ED from a board that is American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Board. NO OTHER BOARDS will be accepted

MUST be trained to see both adults and pediatrics.

MUST show proof of 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months with experience correlating to the privilege requested

BLS must be current and MUST come direct from the American Heart Association

Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays. We have onsite X-ray and EKG.

Must be VERY comfortable with EMR. Epic comfort a plus. Training will be provided but cannot be provided prior to clearing credentialing and onboarding. They need to catch on quickly to EMR.

Must be willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff (no RN/LPN support staff)

Scheduling/Needs:

Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shifts.

Available to work in centers throughout Springfield and Joplin MO

Will schedule 4 shifts in a row

Urgent Care Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12 Hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hour shifts). May be moving to 12's on weekends. MUST be willing to work 12s.

Physicians will not be granted any overtime.

Description / Other Details: Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures including suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG over read, place IVs
