Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid and active or pending CDE license (copies required prior to interview)
• Previous experience in classroom management within an elementary school environment
• Demonstrated expertise in working with students with autism
• Strong understanding of current SPED best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Ability to create individualized learning plans tailored to diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support to a resource caseload of elementary-level students with varying disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support personnel to ensure integrated learning approaches
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
• Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary for success
• Employ proactive behavior and classroom management strategies
• Engage effectively with families and staff to enhance educational outcomes
