Position: Recruiting Coordinator

Compensation : $18–$19 / Hr
Location : Ionia, MI 

Responsibilities: 

As a Recruiting Coordinator, your primary responsibilities are to support the recruiting team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating candidate flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Candidate Coordination & Support:

• Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and onboarding activities.

• Communicate with candidates regarding application status, next steps, and required documentation.

• Help maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant tracking systems.

Recruiting Support:

• Assist recruiters with sourcing activities, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and conducting initial outreach.

• Support screening processes by gathering candidate information and verifying work history.

• Prepare candidate profiles and coordinate submissions to clients.

Office & Administrative Support:

• Greet and assist walk-in applicants and visitors.

• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.

• Maintain organized files, documentation, and compliance records.

• Assist with daily office operations to ensure a smooth workflow.

Candidate & Client Relationship Management:

• Provide professional communication to candidates, clients, and internal team members.

• Support client requests by coordinating candidate interviews and follow-ups.

• Collaborate with the recruiting team to ensure a positive placement experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Energetic, positive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

• Team player who contributes to a positive work culture.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
