Primary Care Physician Locum Tenens Federal Healthcare Superior, WI $140 $155/hour Full-Time 2 FTE Positions Available

We are seeking two Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care Physicians for full-time locum tenens positions supporting a federal healthcare system in Superior, Wisconsin. These are onsite positions serving a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) with a stable, consistent patient population in a well-supported federal care environment.

Position Overview

• Setting: Onsite federal outpatient clinic
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST
• Location: Superior, WI
• FTE Available: 2 positions
• Start: Based on credentialing timeline

What You'll Be Doing

You will provide comprehensive primary care physician services to an established outpatient patient population within a federal healthcare system. Responsibilities encompass the full scope of family medicine or internal medicine practice evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, care coordination, and documentation in accordance with federal facility performance standards. All performance requirements outlined in the facility's performance work statement must be met within standard clinic hours.

Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin and/or Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA license
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• AHA ACLS certification (required)
• Ability to pass federal facility credentialing requirements
• Compliance with federal privacy and information security training including VA Privacy and HIPAA training upon onboarding

Occupational Health Requirements

The following must be completed prior to start:

• MMR vaccine or titer
• Hepatitis B vaccine or titer
• Varicella vaccine or titer
• TB skin test, bloodwork, or chest X-ray
• Influenza vaccination
