Job Description AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for a local contract job in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Position is 4 days/week in one building and one day/week in another Elementary building. Manageable caseload/workload with mentorship from a Spanish Bilingual SLP. Qualifications Must hold an appropriate Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech‑Language Pathology. Active IL SLPA License. Role Overview As an SLPA, you will assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting. You will implement speech and language programs or activities as directed, work with classroom teachers to implement activities, and create an environment conducive to learning. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist. Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist. Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
