Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a travel assignment. This position offers valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Floating: Required between two medical-surgical units

Unit Information

The Medical-Surgical units include:

• 5th Floor: Orthopedic, Surgical, Stroke
• 6th Floor: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Cardiac, Respiratory, Dialysis, Hospice

Total beds: 36

Patient-to-nurse ratios may be 1:6, depending on patient acuity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• BLS certification required

Schedule and Availability

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available.
• Requests for blocked scheduling will be considered but not guaranteed; preferred scheduling includes Thursday through Sunday options.
• Maximum allowable time off: 1 week

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: Cerner
• This position may require floating to other units as needed.
