About the Role

As a Dental Assistant with Alluvion Health, you will play a hands-on role in helping patients feel welcomed, supported, and informed throughout their visit. You'll assist providers during procedures, prepare treatment areas, take radiographs, and help patients understand their oral health-ensuring every patient leaves with a healthier smile.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during exams, restorations, surgeries, and preventive procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms; sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and process digital radiographs
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
• Perform clinical assisting tasks within your scope (rubber dams, topical agents, suture removal, etc.)
• Maintain inventory and manage supply orders
• Follow all infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Support front desk staff as needed with check-ins and phone calls

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience or completion of a Dental Assistant program preferred
• Current Montana dental radiography certification preferred
• Valid Montana driver's license
• Strong attention to detail and excellent patient-care skills
• Ability to work well within a collaborative, team-based environment
