Employment Type Part-time Requirements Dentrix General Dentistry Licensed dental hygienist Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with current certification. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Dentrix for documentation and a strong grasp of dental anatomy and terminology. Clinical Expertise: Proven experience in general dentistry; knowledge of infection prevention and aseptic protocols is essential. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and seamless team collaboration. Job Description Clinical Hygiene: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including expert scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories, measuring vital signs, and assessing current dental conditions. Advanced Clinical Support: Assist dentists during examinations and restorations using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency. Diagnostic Imaging: Take and develop high-quality X-rays and medical imaging while maintaining strict aseptic techniques. Health Education: Counsel and educate patients on preventive care, proper hygiene practices, and post-treatment instructions for lifelong oral health. Records & Compliance: Maintain detailed clinical findings and treatment plans in Dentrix, ensuring 100% HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
