Part-Time Office Assistant

Location: Mendota, IL
Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday, 20 hours per week
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to support daily office and administrative operations. This position is primarily office-based, with occasional time spent on the production floor for inventory counting and related tasks. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, organized, and comfortable working with data, customer interactions, and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the VOC Bead spreadsheet.
• Update the transportation logbook with daily shipment information.
• Enter transportation invoices into the transportation log and scan documents for Accounts Payable processing.
• Print customer stickers and related documentation.
• File packing slips in the filing cabinet (primarily on Fridays).
• Greet customers and visitors entering the office and assist in locating the appropriate team member.
• Print Bills of Lading and other shipping documents.
• Provide general administrative and customer service support.
• Assist with inventory counting and data collection on the production floor as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general data entry.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with SAP is preferred, or the ability to learn SAP systems efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional and friendly customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working in both an office environment and occasionally on the production floor.
