Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts available: 3x12 (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) with weekend coverage required every other weekend, subject to change based on facility needs.

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Telemetry will provide care for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and related conditions. The role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, managing cardiac drips, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-surgical care for cardiac patients, including patients with CAD, lung cancer, and esophageal cancer.
• Administer cardiac and insulin drips, manage dysrhythmias, and perform EKG interpretation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while monitoring vital signs and managing patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac care setting required.
• 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
• Must have current South Carolina RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and an arrhythmia certification.
• Experience with post-surgical cardiovascular patients is mandatory.
