Hiring: Special Education Teacher In Person

Job Description Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. ProCare Therapy is looking to employ multiple special education teachers in Reynoldsburg, OH. The position covers the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities Conduct individual educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Provide counseling and support to students on a variety of issues, including academic concerns, social-emotional problems, and behavioral challenges. Consult with teachers and other school personnel to develop and implement interventions to address students' needs. Collaborate with parents and families to provide support and resources. Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote student success and well-being. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in special education. Qualifications Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution. Valid and current state license to practice special education. Minimum of two years of experience working as a special education teacher in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and intervention techniques. Experience in developing and implementing IEPs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
