Part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team! With 60 years in the industry, we care about longevity and taking care of business the right way. This position is located on-site at our location in Binghamton, NY. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities :

General ledger / financial statement preparation
Weekly payroll / quarterly payroll tax return preparation
Preparation of Federal, State, and Local government filings
Administrative clerical support
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor / Associate degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of Income Tax / Accounting experience
Proficient in Spreadsheet Software (Excel and Word)
Proficient in Income Tax/Accounting Software (Quick-Books / Other)
Strong Computer, Technical and Interpersonal Skills with a customer service focus
Detailed and Deadline Oriented
