Paid Search Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Paid Search Supervisor to lead our search engine marketing (SEM) programs for the pharmaceutical sector. You will be an expert on the evolving search landscape, with a focus on the impact of AI and generative search. You will establish best practices for SEM tailored to compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. It will also involve authoring points of view and white papers that position Inizio Evoke as an voice on paid search. Additionally, you will use new technologies to optimize our search campaigns. The Paid Search Supervisor will collaborate with a talented team of media subject matter experts. This team includes specialists in programmatic advertising, ad operations, social media, and SEO.

You Will:

• Best Practices Development

  • Establish and implement SEM best practices across the organization

  • Review and refine SEM strategies to align with our goals, maximizing ROI on search campaigns

  • Create QA process to ensure all campaigns meet organizational standards and align with new best practices

  • Author points of view, white papers, and internal briefings that establish the agency's perspective on the future of paid search and how AI is reshaping search behavior in pharmaceutical marketing

  Trend Analysis and Adaptation

  • Monitor industry trends, new technologies, and competitive landscape related to SEM

  • I dentify opportunities for the use of tools and techniques that enhance search performance

  • Lead the agency's perspective on how AI, generative search engines, and AI-driven answer experiences (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT) are reshaping paid search strategy in a regulated industry

  • Evaluate emerging AI-powered bidding, creative, and audience tools and recommend where to pilot, scale, or hold based on performance and compliance fit

  Campaign Management

  • Support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) to achieve targeted KPIs

  • Conduct regular campaign analysis and use data-driven insights to inform decisions regarding bidding strategies, keyword selection (including relevant therapeutic areas), ad copy, and audience targeting

  • Troubleshoot live campaign performance issues and investigate reporting discrepancies across platforms, ad servers, and analytics tools, identifying root causes and implementing fixes to keep campaigns delivering accurately

  Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence team to implement integrated marketing strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions

  • Provide guidance internally to brand team members, assisting in their daily campaign management. Externally, act as a technical voice to clients for SEM, providing recommendations and campaign updates.

  • Manage training documentation for setup and campaigns management, and standardized pacing and performance documentation

  Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop SEM performance reports, providing recommendations to senior leadership

  • Analyze and present data to evaluate the effectiveness of search campaigns, using key performance indicators to demonstrate success and inform future strategies

  • Develop Search Testing Process that allows us to systematically test new strategies and prove out new tactics and develop case study materials

  • Provide forecasts and budgetary recommendations based on campaign analysis and market trends specific to the pharmaceutical landscape

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience in SEM/Digital Marketing with experience successful campaign management

• Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, SA360, Google Analytics and SEM tools (e.g., SEMrush, AdThena) with an understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations

• Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Mastery of Excel and Microsoft Office necessary.

• Understanding of AI as a tool for efficiency

• Knowledge of SEM best practices and how they apply to the pharmaceutical industry to integrate search strategies.

• Demonstrated experience writing thought leadership content (POVs, white papers, conference talks, or published articles) on paid search, digital media, or marketing technology

• Working knowledge of how AI and generative search (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, LLM-driven answer engines) are changing paid search, and a clear perspective on where the discipline is heading

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
