Duties & Responsibilities: Grasp project objectives and needs. Craft prototypes, drafts, and innovative design solutions. Collaborate with team members to bring designs to life and ensure seamless communication and coordination. Incorporate user feedback to enhance designs. Stay current on industry trends and advancements. Contribute throughout the design lifecycle, from concept to completion. Monitor production quality and provide feedback to help ensure established quality standards are maintained. Identify technical sewing challenges and assist with solutions to keep production on schedule. Qualifications : 1+ years of design project experience. Collaboration experience with sewing machine operators in a live production setting. Understanding sewing steps and ability to create tech-packs for products. Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in product design and development principles. Proficiency in Accumark software. Knowledge of various textiles, including lightweight, stretch, nylon, cordura, and aramid fibers. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Commitment to maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This position is based in an office and production environment and requires regular collaboration with Product Engineering, Production, and other team members.
