Natera seeks a Senior Data Analyst to design and build a next-generation AI-powered analytics platform for R&D operations. The hybrid role in San Carlos involves leveraging AI development tools while maintaining rigorous code quality and data accuracy standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and rapid prototyping of a modern R&D analytics platform to replace legacy systems
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while thoroughly validating generated code for production quality
- Extract, transform, and model complex multi-source R&D data through custom SQL engineering
- Translate operational requirements into automated KPI workflows and actionable analytics interfaces
- Establish data validation frameworks and governance standards to ensure accuracy across platform outputs
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or platform development
- Proficiency with modern AI developer assistants such as Claude Code or Gemini
- Strong analytical rigor and ability to independently validate data workflows and outputs
- Advanced SQL expertise and experience with complex data transformation
- Experience designing and prototyping scalable analytics solutions
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
