As a Security Guard - Overnights Full Time in Minooka IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures badge and credential checks and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or delivery information and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings production areas loading zones and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity vehicle access deliveries and other security-related events in accordance with site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter observing for maintenance concerns access issues and unusual conditions that could affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
