The role works PRN with our MRI team to deliver high‑quality imaging care. Responsibilities Performs all body imaging and diagnostic procedures involved in MRI. Assists with equipment calibration and quality control procedures in a timely manner. Positions and transfers patients safely and efficiently. Assists radiologists with in‑depth procedures. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Provides radiology support in all imaging modalities. Administers radiographic contrast per physician request and policy. Prepares IV for scan procedures, ensuring aseptic technique. Reports to the Lead CT/MRI Technologist or Operations Manager. Handles physical demands, including respiratory fit testing as required. Follows safety precautions in a hazardous environment (radiation, chemicals, infections). Manages interruptions, noise, odors, and chemical exposure. BLS or CPR certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Effective communication in English (verbal and written).
