Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Obstetrics/Gynecology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of Client Experience License: Active RN License (Texas) Certifications: BLS NRP Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: High Risk Obstetrical Experience (Labor & Delivery or Antepartum) 2+ Years of Client Experience BLS NRP AWHONN Description: Must have Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience. Experience with high acuity patients is preferred. The unit has 19 beds with patient ratios of 1:5. Documentation system used is Meditech & CPIN. Shifts will be scheduled to fill vacancies; holiday requirements will be discussed during the interview. Floating may be required as needed. Preferred skills include experience with ACLS and Meditech. Experience with Magnesium Sulfate management and preterm labor management is required. Dress code includes blue scrubs, no artificial nails, hair must be neat and clean, and body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. The unit has been recently renovated.
