Department: Physical Therapy – Acute Care Rehab Schedule: PRN Days (as needed) Facility: Resurrection Medical Center Location: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631 Why Work as a PRN Physical Therapist at Resurrection Medical Center? Practice at the Top of Your License: Evaluate and treat high‑acuity patients in a fast‑paced setting, focusing on early mobilization and critical decision‑making for complex medical and surgical cases. Drive Discharge Excellence: Play a pivotal role in the care continuum by determining the safest next steps for patients, collaborating directly with physicians and case managers to reduce readmissions. Experience Clinical Variety: Rotate through diverse units—including the ICU, Step‑down, and Med‑Surg—utilizing advanced equipment to help patients regain independence during the most critical phase of their recovery. Responsibilities Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Performs responsibilities in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy. Current state Physical Therapy license. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Pay Transparency Compensation is a flat rate of $48.17 per hour. Actual starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection based on factors such as skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
