We are looking for an experienced supervisor to help lead our team to success.Summary: The primary function of this position is to maintain facility and fabricate and fix equipment.Essential Duties:Knowledge of all equipment.Make sure all PM's are getting completed as scheduled.Spot check equipment after it has been repaired to ensure the job was done correctly.Ordering all replacement and spare parts for equipment.Schedule PM's with other Department Heads to verify production down times.Knowledge of what and when to prioritize.Verify costs and follow proper bill paying procedures.Ensure area and work sites are clean and organized at the end of each shift or after completion of repair.Distribute work orders for the staff.Create and track project numbers, hours, and expenses.Competencies Required:Operates with Passion, Energy and Enthusiasm.Keep and maintain a clean and organized department.Creative and resourceful.Shows optimism and vision for the future.Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.Have prompt and reliable attendance.Supervisory Responsibilities:Maintains a high level of quality to eliminate mistakes.Ensure your team is trained, coached, and motivated.Review, praise, or discipline, and terminate employees properly and as needed.Ensure all areas and personnel are compliant with our safety and company policies.Keep overtime hours to a minimum.Approve timecards for team members and approve time off requests based on workload.Ability to delegate tasks to team members.Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.Always strives for improvement.Education and Experience: High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully to perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.Equipment/Software used:Safety Glasses and GlovesANSI approved work boots or shoesPneumatic toolsForkliftHand/Electric ToolsMill MachineDrill PressScissor LiftWelderPlasma CutterPick-up TruckEducation and Experience: High School diploma or GED required. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred and 1 year of people leading experience.
