Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license from the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• School-based experience preferred, especially within elementary settings
• Background working with children and students with diverse disabilities
• Excellent communication, organization, and team collaboration skills
• Familiarity with Assistive Technology (AT) assessments and resources preferred
• Ability to participate in the IEP process and multidisciplinary educational teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct formal and informal student evaluations to determine therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and small group settings
• Track student progress, adapt interventions, and maintain compliance with documentation
• Consult and communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff regarding student progress
• Participate in IEP, parent, and staff meetings as an expert resource
• Assist with AT evaluations, recommendations, and classroom implementation strategies
• Facilitate access to curriculum and inclusion through targeted therapeutic interventions
• Carry out related duties as assigned to support student achievement
