Summary Position located at SpareTime Bowling Center in Fort Riley, Kansas. Lead the team that keeps it all rolling from first frame to final strike. MWR supports the Military Family with fun and relaxing recreational activities, great food, and excellent service. Duties and Responsibilities Manages a large business activity, formulating instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit-generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups, and other agencies, coordinating functions with community and military representatives. Conducts management reviews of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures, evaluating success in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, and mission accomplishment. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plans. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity. Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position. A one‑year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check. Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate the applicant’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position. Work experience managing or directing the activities of a business such as a restaurant, bowling center, or golf course. Highly Preferred Qualifications Minimum two years of work experience managing or directing a family entertainment facility, bowling center, restaurant, or food and beverage operation. Experience with financial analysis, budget development and execution, and food and labor cost management. Experience with marketing and executing programs and events.
