Securities Operations Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Securities Operations Associate. T The successful candidate will support day-to-day operational activity across client accounts and securities transactions while working closely with internal teams, financial advisors, custodians, and other business partners. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Responsibilities Support daily securities and brokerage operations, including trade processing, settlements, transfers, and account maintenance. Assist with the opening, maintenance, and servicing of client accounts. Review transactions and account documentation for accuracy and completeness. Monitor trade settlements and assist with researching and resolving breaks or discrepancies. Process cash movements, wires, journals, and other client account transactions. Support ACAT and non-ACAT account transfers and asset movements. Work with custodians and clearing firms to resolve operational issues. Respond to operational inquiries from internal teams, financial advisors, and clients. Maintain accurate records and ensure transactions are processed within established deadlines. Follow internal controls, regulatory requirements, and established operational procedures. Communicate with Portuguese-speaking clients and business partners as required. Assist the broader operations team with reconciliations, reporting, and special projects. Qualifications 1+ years of experience within banking, brokerage, wealth management, securities operations, or a related financial services environment preferred. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred. Basic understanding of securities, investment products, and financial markets. Exposure to brokerage operations, trade settlement, account transfers, wires, or client account servicing is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven environment. FINRA licenses are not required, but securities industry experience or an interest in obtaining industry licenses is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
