Telecommunications Specialist (911 Dispatcher)

We accept applications as a lateral transfers for those who are currently employed as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher, Telecommunication Specialist, Police Communications Technicians, Public Safety Dispatcher, or Public Safety Telecommunicator.

Requirements *These are the minimum qualifications necessary by law to be considered for this position. If you do not have the needed experience or equivalent experience required for this role, kindly consider applying for another position with us.
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Working knowledge of telephone, radio, computer and office equipment
- Ability to be certified in CPR and Emergency Medical Dispatch protocol
- Ability to be calm in the face of danger or an emergency
- Possess hearing and speaking ability, judgment, demeanor
- Ability to learn terminology commonly used by police, fire and medical personnel
