Clinical Research Nurse

Schedule: Multiple Shift Options Available Available Shifts: *40 hours per week, shift differentials included 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM CST, with an every-other-weekend rotation Night Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM CST Pay: $35 - $50/hour (pre-differential) Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Research Nurses to support the safe and efficient conduct of Phase I clinical trials. This role is responsible for performing protocol-required nursing procedures, ensuring participant safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional care throughout each study. Candidates who are interested in transitioning into clinical research are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Obtain and document informed consent, medical histories, and participant assessments. Perform protocol-required procedures including vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection and processing, IV placement, infusions, and physical measurements. Administer and verify study medications in accordance with study protocols and nursing standards. Monitor participants for adverse events and promptly elevate clinical concerns as appropriate. Collect, process, and manage biological samples according to protocol requirements. Maintain accurate source documentation and study records. Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements. Support participant safety, comfort, and retention throughout study participation. Complete required protocol training and perform delegated study activities within scope of practice. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts. Qualifications: Required: Active Wisconsin RN license. 2nd Shift: Paramedics may also be considered. Night Shift: LPNs may also be considered. Interest in clinical research (previous research experience is not required). Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and participant safety. Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical research regulations is preferred. Preferred: Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with computers and electronic data entry systems. Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
