Night Auditor Job Duties Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner overnight. Ascertain guests' lodging and purchasing needs. Assist guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow‑up as necessary. Register guests and manage the rooming chart. Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers, and make change for cash customers. Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording the driver’s license number and operating credit card authorization systems. Balance the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift. Reconcile nightly finances and reports. Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Provide pre‑arrival support for guests arriving on packages. Facilitate correspondence with guests. Know all essential aspects of our resort or hotel operations. Act as the site liaison for the services and sales center.
