This role involves teaching, organizing and supervising club meetings, and managing students. Essential Functions Instruction: Develop and deliver age-appropriate content appropriate lessons for students in the club. Club Management: Organize and lead regular club meetings. Create a structured schedule for meetings. Student Supervision: Supervise all students during club activities, ensuring a safe and respectful environment. Communication: Maintain open communication with the school administration, parents, and students. Provide any required updates on club activities and student progress. Equipment Management: Oversee any school property or areas utilized during club time and ensure it is stored and maintained properly. Recruitment and Promotion: Assist in promoting the club to students and families. Qualifications Experience: Experience teaching or working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred. Knowledge: Basic understanding of content related to club area. Patience & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young children. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential. Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check as required by the school district. This position is paid via a Club hourly rate of $12.00 per hour (as defined by the district collective bargaining agreement), the amount of which will be determined by the number of sessions and activities.
