East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing gastroenterology program in Statesboro, Georgia. Opportunity Highlights Join a well-established gastroenterology practice with experienced physician partners Current team includes 3 gastroenterologists supported by dedicated Advanced Practice Providers Practice focuses on allowing physicians to maximize procedural time through strong clinical support Opportunity to perform a broad range of general GI procedures ERCP and EUS available Shared call schedule of approximately 1:3 , expected to improve to 1:4 as the practice continues to grow Light weekend call volume, with many cases safely deferred until weekdays Practice exclusively at one hospital and one clinic location Medical Office Building is conveniently connected to the hospital via a first-floor breezeway, creating an efficient daily workflow Replacement position with immediate patient volume and strong referral base About East Georgia Regional Medical Center 149-bed acute care hospital Approximately 53,000 Emergency Department visits annually Around 1,500 deliveries each year Established referral network serving southeast Georgia The hospital offers physicians the unique combination of practicing in a facility large enough to provide clinical complexity while remaining small enough for individual physicians to make a meaningful impact on the community.
