We are always looking for talented people to join our team and grow with us.What You DoUnload incoming shipments and verify quantities and labels against inbound paperwork.Inspect inbound shipments for freight damage and report issues to the appropriate parties.Pick, pack, and load customer orders according to established procedures.Check carton quality on picked orders before loading.Return misplaced or incorrectly pulled items to the proper bin location.Consolidate bin locations as directed.Maintain proper product stack heights.Follow housekeeping responsibilities for the assigned area.How Your Success is MeasuredAccurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipmentsQuality and accuracy of products picked and loaded for customersInventory accuracyProper stack height and bin accuracyA clean and orderly work environment that meets safety and housekeeping standardsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least one year of warehouse experience requiredExperience operating warehouse equipment such as a hand truck, dolly, pallet jack, or order picker requiredProficiency with Warehouse Management System and Datascope for inbound and outbound processingAbility to understand and follow instructionsAbility to perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and receivingAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocolsAbility to lift up to 70 pounds at any given timeFlexibility to adjust to changing job assignments, assist other departments, and work overtime based on business needsBasic math skillsStrong attendance and demonstrated work ethicPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The role may also involve some exposure to temperature extremes and dust in the warehouse or plant environment.Additional Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists in additional housekeeping duties for the department including keeping work areas and all bin locations clear as needed to ensure safety.Other duties as assigned.Expected hours of work: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Hours depend on business needs, during peak season, overtime is expected including some weekends.
