Accounting Operations Manager Downtown Indianapolis, IN 46204 Downtown Louisville, KY 40202 Downtown Cincinnati, OH 45202 Hybrid schedule (2 days work from home) $90,000 – $110,000 base salary A professional services organization is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and lead a team of accounting professionals. This role is available in Indianapolis, Louisville, or Cincinnati and is ideal for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys managing workflows, people, and process improvement in a hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Manage and develop an accounting team, ideally overseeing 3 or more direct reports Coordinate month‑end and year‑end close activities Review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and reports Establish and improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiencies Collaborate with finance, leadership, and other internal stakeholders Support audits and ensure proper documentation and controls are maintained Serve as a resource for accounting policy interpretation and best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior people management or supervisory experience, preferably with 3+ direct reports Strong understanding of core accounting operations and internal controls Experience improving processes and managing accounting workflows Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel Strong communication and leadership skills Compensation & Opportunity Base salary range of $90K–$110K, depending on experience Hybrid work model with 2 days remote per week Choice of three major Midwest downtown office locations Leadership role with operational ownership and team impact Stable organization with long‑term growth potential #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
