Warehouse Administrator Full Time Field Operations Houston, TX, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 5124 Position Summary: The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through accurate documentation, inventory record management, shipment coordination, and administrative support. This role serves as a key communication link between warehouse personnel, vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure the timely and accurate flow of inventory and materials. The position maintains data integrity within warehouse systems, supports shipping and receiving processes, and helps ensure efficient day-to-day warehouse operations. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain warehouse documentation and records, including receipts, packing slips, shipping labels, bills oflading, delivery notes, and shipping/receiving documentation. Process and verify shippingand receiving transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of all records. Perform data entry and maintainaccurate information within warehouse management systems, inventory databases, and related tracking tools. Manage inventory data and support inventory accuracy by updating stock records, tracking inventory movements, and investigating discrepancies. Process orders and provide administrative support for picking, packing, shipping, and fulfillment activities. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities,including scheduling deliveries, pickups, and carrier appointments. Communicate with vendors, carriers, warehouse staff, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operational workflows. Monitor shipment status and provide updates regarding deliveries, inventory availability, and operational concerns. Conduct routine audits of warehouse records and documentation to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards. Support quality control efforts by identifying, documenting, and reportinginventory, shipping, or receiving discrepancies. Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination to support daily warehouseoperations and staffing needs. Generate reports and maintain records related to inventory, shipments, receiving activities, and operational performance. Support organization and administrative oversight of warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate execution of warehouse processes. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of business records and operational data. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and warehouse operational standards. Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education): High school diploma or GED required. Previousadministrative, shipping / receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience preferred. Proficientwith Microsoft Office applications and basic data entry functions. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to work across multiple departments. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Performing General Physical Activities – Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
