Help us continue our mission of "Serving Those Who Served" by providing exceptional, resident-centered care to Washington's Veterans. We are now accepting applications for Registered Nurse 2 at the historic Washington Soldiers Home.

This position has been posted within the assigned pay range through Step W. Step X has not been published as this is considered the longevity step, in alignment with state HR compensation rules. This salary range reflects increases effective July 1st, 2026.

Updated as of July 1, 2025: This position is eligible for "Supplement Basic Shift Premium" for 24/7 Facilities. Employees who are assigned to a facility that provides direct care to residents, patients, and/or clients and whose duties are required to be performed on location will receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour of supplemental basic shift premium for each hour of basic shift premium. This shift premium does not apply to overtime hours. The supplemental basic shift premium shall expire on June 29, 2027.

Please note: The work schedule will be Friday through Monday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Hybrid/Telework: This position is not eligible for telework.

As a Registered Nurse 2, you will support the delivery of skilled nursing and nursing-related care to vulnerable veteran residents. Under the direction of the RN 3, you will provide clinical treatments, medication administration, and comprehensive documentation while ensuring residents receive dignified, compassionate support with activities of daily living in accordance with current nursing standards.
