Job Description

God’s Glory, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals in residential settings. DSPs assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care, daily living skills, and household tasks
• Assist with meal preparation, budgeting, transportation, and community activities
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and document services accurately
• Support health and safety needs, including medication administration per policy
• Promote a safe and supportive home and community environment
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and families
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all agency policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Experience in human services (preferred)
• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the position
• Female staff required due to the personal care and privacy needs of the individuals supported (BFOQ)

Work Environment

• Residential home settings
• Active, hands-on role supporting individuals in the community
