Location: Children's Hospital Colorado – Anschutz Medical Campus
Duration: 13 Weeks
Assignment Dates: 07/21/2026 – 10/24/2026
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Work 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, with rotating start times
- Float to North Campus, South Campus, AMC Periop Admit/Discharge, and perform pre-op phone calls
- Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations
- Adhere to the 50-mile radius rule for floating assignments
Requirements
- BSN required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
- Pediatric PACU experience must be clearly documented in work history
- Previous travel experience required
- Pediatric experience, PALS, and previous pre/post experience required
Preferred Skills
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Benefits
