Follow accepted policy and procedures and respond to calls, render treatment and transport patients as indicated or directed. Maintain appropriate documentation. Function professionally with community partners and other departments of CRMC in a courteous manner. Maintain emergency vehicles and equipment in a constant state of readiness. Perform special assignments given by the Shift Captain or Director.

To keep all vehicles stocked and in working order. Respond immediately to all emergency calls as received. Keep equipment ready for use at all times. Deliver prompt, effective care to all patients. Ensure safety to self, passengers and patients. Maintain proper communications and continuing care with 911 and Medical Control during transport. Maintain proper records of ambulance calls. Safely evaluate, treat, extricate and transport patients as needed or indicated. Communicate pertinent information and carry out orders of the physician.
