Millwright Position Summary Installs, maintains and repairs a variety of piping and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings in an industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand-tools and power tools. Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Hiring Requirements for Millwright High School or Vocational High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical trades (e.g., plumbing, pipefitting, or other mechanical installation). Successful completion of the Millwright Apprenticeship program, Millwright certification through an accredited program, and/or applicable welding licenses. OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training). Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License. R.H.
