Position OverviewProvide unique and enriching glamping experiences for families through housekeeping and hospitality excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all lodgings and public areas are kept clean and according to standardsDeliver excellent quality linen cleaning, folding, and inventory. Using industrial laundry machines.Strip, reset, and set-up glamping tents according to housekeeping standardsAssist with guests, check in through reservation software and prepare lodging spaces for guestsClean bathroom and shower facilities according to daily and weekly checklistsMaintain grounds around camp to standard (pulling weeds, cleaning, sweeping, etc.)Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactionsMaintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work areaPerform additional duties assigned by SBR leadershipAbide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbookQualificationsMinimum age: 18+Required: Valid U.S. driver's licenseWilling to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communicationPhysical & Practical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 poundsComplete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelinesHousing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55Desired TraitsHigh emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focusAdaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skillsAbility to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgroundsPerformance ExpectationsContribute at least one improvement to department operationsReceive 2 or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or guestsGlamping tents flipped and cleaned in under 30 minutes
