This contract opportunity located near Knox, IN is seeking dedicated and passionate SLPs and SLPAs to support students for the full remaining school year. Multiple openings are available, with flexibility to tailor caseloads based on your individual experience and professional preferences.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY), or SLPA
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings desirable
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted therapy
- Willingness to provide teletherapy and/or onsite services, as needed
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Organizational ability to manage documentation and compliance standards
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, onsite or via teletherapy
- Adapt services to meet the needs of diverse caseloads and age groups
- Document progress and communicate effectively with educational teams and families
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices in school-based speech-language services
