Application Developer / Junior Application Developer

Job Description:

Seeking an Application Developer to support configuration, development, testing, and production support for a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) application.

The developer will work on application configuration, requirements gathering and analysis, reference table configuration, user access/permissions, application enhancements, scripting, debugging, source control, testing, implementation documentation, and production application support.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of software development practices and experience working in Agile and/or traditional SDLC environments .

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field
• 2+ years of SQL/database experience
• 2+ years of object-oriented programming/development
• Experience with .NET, C#, Java, or VB/VB.NET
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Understanding of software development methodologies, coding standards, and best practices
• Willingness and ability to learn new applications and technologies.
