Director of Marketing and Communications

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, communication, journalism, marketing or related field.

2. Training and Experience: Three to five years experience and a proven track record in the management of marketing, customer service, writing, journalism, advertising, community and public relations, effective communication, planning and special events. Healthcare experience preferred.

3. Job Knowledge: Understanding of marketing, advertising and community and public relations. Demonstrated ability to function as an effective member of multidisciplinary teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills

DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for all aspects of marketing and community relations. Actively involved within the community as an ambassador of the hospital. Exhibits the ability to set priorities, organize workload, meet deadlines, and plan and handle multiple tasks and events simultaneously. Has ability to manage stress due to changes in priorities and deadlines. Facilitator of special events, both externally and internally. Solicits feedback from the community about public opinion regarding UNITY HEALTH's image and keeps Administration informed.
