Job Details Job Title: Licensed Insurance Agent Location: Breaux Bridge, LA Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility). Responsibilities Assist clients with insurance quotes, policy selection, sales presentations, and coverage options. Maintain active customer relationships by handling policy updates, account inquiries, and billing questions. Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand coverage for existing policyholders. Maintain complete accuracy and compliance with state insurance guidelines and agency standards. Working hours Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills Preferred: Life & Health Insurance License is a major plus. Education High School Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License is required. Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, and excellent computer literacy. Screening: Candidates may be required to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
