Shipping Forklift Operator

Description

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious 1st shift Forklift Driver to join our Shipping Department . In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate shipment of products. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced with warehouse operations and forklift equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks, verifying materials and quantities
Move, stack, and organize pallets and freight in the shipping area
Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and wrapping
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping dock
Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs
Collaborate with team members to meet shipping schedules
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift 50+lbs and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with shipping documentation and processes
Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
