Travel Registered Nurse - NICU in Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule:

• 7p-7a shifts
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend, minimum
• Holiday commitment: 75% of holidays
• Schedule cycle: Every 6 weeks

Qualifications:

• RN license (active and unencumbered)
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Proficient with basic ventilator management, central lines, and tracheostomy care
• Experience in pre/post-surgical care, infant venous sticks, gavage, G-tube and bottle feeding, and blood transfusions
• First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities:

• Care for neonatal patients (23 weeks-term), including those with surgical and complex care needs
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team which includes Nursing Assistants and Charge RNs
• Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, and Pediatric Hem/Onc units
• Participate in comprehensive new employee and unit orientation
