IT Service Tech (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Service Tech for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR. This role is ideal for a bilingual technology support professional who enjoys helping users resolve technical issues, documenting solutions, and working in a service center environment.

The IT Service Tech will support internal and external users with computer applications, hardware, system procedures, access issues, and service requests. This position offers the opportunity to build hands-on IT support experience in a structured, team-oriented environment with established processes, supportive leadership, and opportunities to continue developing technical and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for internal and external users of computer applications, hardware, and related systems.
- Respond to questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, system status, and downtime procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between users and IT teams to help resolve technology-related business issues.
- Collaborate with network services, software engineering, and application support teams to restore service and identify recurring problems.
- Maintain accurate troubleshooting logs, case histories, issue documentation, and actionable resolution steps.
- Manage user access rights in accordance with established procedures and support standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $17 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide front-line IT service center support for application, hardware, access, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot user issues, document case activity, and track incidents through timely resolution.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams to restore service and communicate updates to users.
- Support user access rights and follow established service desk procedures.

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- 1 or more years of experience in a related IT support, service desk, or technical support role preferred.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software required.
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, required.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate case histories.
- Ability to work independently within established procedures while applying technical knowledge and company policies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with service desk best practices.
- Prior experience in an IT Service Center, help desk, technical support, or user support environment.
- Ability to provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members.
