HR GENERALIST

Responsibilities Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health is a 182-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for youth, adults and seniors. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Progressive professionals in the fields of psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education and activity therapy provide our comprehensive services. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing human resources support to the facility HR Director, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, conducting employee benefits and 401K plan enrollment meetings, responding to employee inquires, insurance, unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and organizing all employee activities and in-services. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field. 3 year's related work experence. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR. Administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email. Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards is highly preferred.
